This class prepares an administrator to properly set up the operating system for ePO 4.0 installation. Class covers the steps of ePO 4.0 installation and preparing the system for basic functionality needed. This includes the deployment of the common management agent.

This class prepares an engineer for the successful migration from ePO 3.6.1 server to ePO 4.0. It covers in detail all 13 steps necessary to prepare ePO 3.6.1 before a successful upgrade can happen. The class then examines the new features and functionality of 4.0.

This class is the first of a two-part series that covers the configuration of ePO for day-to-day operations. It covers detailed information on how the common management agent works and how to configure ePO and the ePO server to automate processes.

This class is the second in a two-part series that covers the creation of the hierarchy of the ePO system tree. Agenda includes advanced topics such as: notification, rogue system detection, and advanced policy features. It also covers step-by-step troubleshooting of the ePO server.

This class starts with the fundamentals and properties of the CMA 4.0. It follows with a detailed analysis of how the agent is deployed from ePO Server or other products and how the agent gets installed on the hosts. The next section is breaking down the logs of the installation process and the logs when the agent starts up. This class is intended with for anyone who is working with the agent and is in charge of maintaining the agent. This class is part of the ePO pass.

Three-hour class.

This class covers the basic installation, deployment, and configuration of VS 8.7i. Class discusses the deployment parameters and options. It covers the installation of the extensions and checking in the new package into ePO. The next section covers all the different modules of VirusScan 8.7i: Buffer Overflow, Email, On-Access, On-Demand, Access Protection, and the files menu with GUI options. It covers the logs that are created when infections are found and how to use those logs to create exclusions. It ends with a Q and A for any remaining issues that may come up.

Five-hour class.

This Host Intrusion Prevention class covers the basic installation of HIPS and ends with configuration of the options of Host Intrusion Prevention. This class is designed for users who are new to the product. This class covers known issues with the server and client. The class goes into installing the agent on a windows platform and other relevant platforms. Next is configuring the general policies and covering the IPS policies. Next, the class covers the correct methodology in deploying the agent with the IPS module in the adaptive mode and on mode.

The Host Intrusion Prevention Advanced and Best Practices class is intended for users who have already installed HIPS and had a chance to work with the basic deployment of the agent to workstations. This class starts with covering and configuring all general policies and the client GUI. Next it covers all aspects of the IPS module and the correct method of deploying IPS in an organization. The following section covers the interface that the client sees on the workstation itself. After finishing with IPS, discuss and create different firewall rules. Also covered is the different modes of adaptive, learning, and on mode. The last thing this class covers is the application blocking and best practices of deploying this module.
